One of the main benefits of using timber frame construction to build your new home or commercial premises is the speed of installation; as well as the subsequent time reduction in the overall build programme.
We know all too well just how unpredictable the British weather can be, yet timber frame houses can be erected in a fraction of the time of their masonry counterparts – which is great news for British Housebuilders.
Once all of the foundations and services have been installed, the timber frame and panels are quickly assembled on site. The roof is constructed, sheathed and battened and depending on the size of the property, the whole structure can be made water resistant within a matter of days.
Once the exterior shell is watertight, the internal trades can quickly get to work. The plumbing, heating and electrics can all go in. Interior walls are dry-lined and taped, meaning that decoration can commence relatively quickly.
At White Haus, we only ever use our own fully trained installation operatives with at least one fully qualified site manager allocated on each project.
By keeping the installation process in-house and not outsourcing to subcontractors, we can effectively control the quality and speed of installation, keep each project on time and within budget.
